 Hadleigh is a beautiful market town set in the heart of the rolling Suffolk countryside. There are not many towns of this character left in Britain today and there is something for everyone in this lively community. Its medieval charm is a Mecca for tourists, there is a thriving business spirit, lots of clubs for the active and many green spaces and a nature reserve for relaxation. | Within minutes of the town centre you can visit the Deanery Tower with its polygonal turrets built in 1495, St Mary's church, the cricket meadow, 3 children's play areas, a swimming pool, East House community center, the market place and a war memorial. The River Brett winds its way from the North edge of the town, parallel to the High Street, under picturesque Toppesfield Bridge, through a mill pool and then on to Higham where it joins the River Stour in Constable country.
