Hadleigh Cricket Club



Our 1st XI competes in the Marshall Hatchick Two Counties Cricket Championship (a feeder league for the East Anglian Premier League) and also the DFDS Suffolk Cup. All matches are played in Suffolk and North Essex. The 2nd XI plays in the Club Colours Suffolk Premier Cricket League and 3rd XI plays in the McNeil Sports Suffolk Cricket League with their matches being played in west Suffolk. A warm welcome is extended to anyone, senior junior, who wishes to play, or support, cricket during the summer. The club can offer the following:

· Excellent playing facilities on the Cricket Meadow in Friars Road (by Babergh at the north end of the town), which featured in Wisden's Loveliest Cricket Grounds calendar of 2003.
· A modern clubhouse and bar
· Net practice and coaching by qualified staff on an artificial wicket
· Social membership and functions
· A friendly atmosphere


Coaching

Juniors aged 8-13 are coached on Mondays from 6-8pm and older children of 13 plus on Wednesday evenings. Coaching will be by fully qualified cricket coaches, who will endeavour to make the sessions both informative and enjoyable
Senior practice evening is Thursday from 6pm

The club's major sponsor is Exelprint, Brettenham House, Lady Lane Industrial Estate, Hadleigh. Lancasters plc is the sponsor of match balls.
